One article they cover suggests that monthly home appreciation increases have now plateaued at 18.1% year-over-year. Many experts believe that this will likely drop to about 15% by the end of this year. That does not mean that prices will decrease in value heading into the next few years, but rather that we will revert back to a normal appreciation similar to our 25-year average of 5.1%.
